- Focusing on personal responsibility still isn’t a good way to manage public health — CDC director Rochelle Walensky: “I might say people are responsible for their own health. If you’re not vaccinated, that, again, is taking your responsibility for your own health into your own hands.” This is frustrating to me because I have children who can’t yet get the vaccine. Unvaccinated people going around without masks are now endangering children as well as themselves.
