Notes from my week.

Putting the finishing touches on our new build tools, including setting up static file copy scripts, switching from node-sass to sass, and testing in Windows
Finally got around to setting up Time Machine on my Synology NAS. Some people say it stops working after a few months, so I’ll just have to wait and see how it goes.

Continued working on the Tallgrass Church website. I was really hoping to get v2 released before the end of the year, but time is quickly slipping away. I should have more time to work during the Christmas break though.
My PlayStation 5 arrived right before Thanksgiving!
Ate way too much (excellent) food for Thanksgiving. We tried Torchy’s Tacos. I liked it (Jermaine did not), but I think Taco Lucha is better. I also got some Shake Shack and Jack Stack.

Astro’s Playroom (PS5) — A really great way to start with the PlayStation 5
NHL 21 (PS4) — My first NHL game in 6 years, and I’m loving all the changes so far
Tried various games to see which ones would work for my kids:
- Bugsnax (PS5) — A bit too difficult for my kids
- LittleBigPlanet 3 (PS4) — The kids did surprisingly well with this game
- Yooka-Laylee (PS4) — The 2-player mode is pretty boring for the second player
- The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game (PS4) — I think the LEGO games are going to be the most fun for my kids right now
- Overcooked! 2 (PS4) — Seems fun, but gets pretty complicated quickly
Fortnite — Trying out the new season
