Notes from my week.
- I’ve been spending more time working on my dotfiles recently. I’m trying to finish a new installer I have been working on for a while.
- I spent some time learning more about Node Version Manager (
nvm) as we upgraded the version of Node.js we have been using at work. This week I realized the reason it takes so long for me to download a new version of Node is that there is no compiled version of Node 12 or 14 for the Apple M1 CPU, so my computer has been compiling Node in addition to downloading.
