Notes from my week.
- Getting back to “normal” life after recovering from Covid. The kids went back to school, but because I was the last one to get a positive test, I was still in quarantine until Thursday.
- Snow day on Wednesday. They originally projected upwards of 9 inches of snow, but I think we only ended up with 2-3 inches. Also, between weather, sickness, parent-teacher conferences, and holidays, I’m convinced our kids won’t go a full week their entire first semester of public school.
- Dreaming of traveling quite a bit this week. Two years ago at this time our family was on vacation at Disneyland, and five years ago my wife and I were on a cruise for our 10th anniversary.
- I’ve been doing a bit of design for a project at work lately. I spent much of this week building a modal in Svelte for the project.
- Attended a virtual Testing Vue Apps with Cypress workshop from Vue.js Nation. I don’t have much experience with writing tests, and this workshop was helpful.
- Finishing up a few lingering tasks from the Tallgrass at The Well branding updates.
- Last year we had seen almost none of the Oscar nominated movies, so we have been trying to get a head start this year, watching as many of the Golden Globe nominees as possible.
